Action Against Hunger is a humanitarian organization dedicated to saving the lives of children and their families whose livelihoods have been compromised by hunger.  Known worldwide as a leader in the fight against hunger our programs in health and nutrition, water and sanitation and food security fight this disaster on all fronts.  Treating almost 5 million people in over 40 countries we are dedicated to getting to the most vulnerable and assisting them in regaining their self autonomy. We are now looking for Nurses and Nutritionists to help us in our cause.
NURSES AND NUTRITIONISTS Your main responsibility will be running supplementary feeding centers and implementing nutrition surveys in accordance with the ACF charter.  Depending on your skills and experience, you may also be responsible for designing nutrition programmes for supplementary or therapeutic feeding centers, managing and training national staff, collecting information on malnutrition and food security. 
What are the selection criteria?
Education and experience : Expatriates need to display they have completed study in their area of expertise and must have two years experience in their domain.   A keen interest in humanitarian aid is vital and demonstrated travel or work abroad will be highly regarded.
Languages : Mastery in either French or English or both is essential and another language always helps.
Personality : You need to be able to adapt to new living conditions, be willing to respect the local culture and customs of the country of work and be interested in humanitarian work. 
Contracts : We ask expatriates to sign up for one year contracts. We pay a monthly salary and then daily per diems. You will also be provided with a one-week rest and recuperation leave every 3 months.  Full medical and evacuation insurance, accommodation and flights are covered as well.
