POSITION: EIGHT (8) PERMANENT PART TIME REGISTERED NURSES
 DEPARTMENT: REGIONAL SPECIALIZED MENTAL HEALTH PROGRAM
 SITE: NBRHC – NORTH BAY
 HOURS: ALL SHIFTS AS SCHEDULED
Qualifications and Technical Competencies
• Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse required
• Current Certification in CPR required
• Current First Aid
• Knowledge of Recovery Oriented Practice Supporting Patient Choice
• Good working knowledge of the College of Nurses of Ontario Standards of Nursing Practice required
• Knowledge of applicable legislation (i.e. Mental Health Act, PHIPA, QCIPA, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability in therapeutic and interpersonal communication skills required
• Computer application experience required
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to apply conflict resolution skills required
• Must demonstrate commitment to ensure their safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, volunteers, and visitors
• Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this organization
• Good attendance and work record required
• Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
Criminal Reference Check: recent, within two (2) months is a requirement
