About the Opportunity
As a growing health authority, Sapotaweyak Cree Nation has an opening for a diligent Community Health Nurse to join its team.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Health, you will provide Community Health programs and work cooperatively with other jurisdictions within First Nation communities.
Community Health Programs include:
•Communicable Disease Surveillance
•School Health Education
•Chronic Disease Data Monitoring
•Diabetes Clinics
•Population Health
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immunizations, pre and post-natal health, and health education and awareness.
You will have a Bachelor of Nursing or be a Registered Nurse, with a minimum of 2 years' hospital experience, plus current College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Registration.
