Your functions will include, but will not be limited to:
•Managing the pre-placement medical assessments contracts and working with clients to determine the requirements of pre-placement tests
•Coordinating Audio, PFT, Blood/Body Fluid Exposure programs and associated contracts
•Delivering disease/injury prevention through immunization programs and health surveillance
•Managing the performance of occupational health programs
•Providing education and training to client departments
•Carrying-out quality control audits for all the medical services provided by third parties
•Conducting evaluations and ensuring the success of the occupational health programs
•Overseeing employee health file management and conducting preparatory work in support of different client area health programs
•Supporting health promotion initiatives corporate-wide

Qualifications:
•A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, Nursing diploma or equivalent
•Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Alberta Association of Registered Nurses
•Minimum of two years of Occupational Health experience
•Occupational Health Nursing Certificate or demonstrated Occupational Health training and/or education
•Comprehensive knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulations and Code
•Working knowledge of the Health Information Act and practices of handling confidential medical files
•Proficiency using Medgate would be an asset
•Any experience working in a shared services environment or government body would be an asset
•Excellent written, oral, interpersonal skills, organizational skills are essential for success in this role
•Strong contract management and program evaluation skills
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: particularly in Word, Excel and Access
Hours of Work: 36.9 Monday - Friday. The hours of work for management employees may vary and may be subject to the terms and conditions of a variable hours of work program
Salary Range: 91M; Salary Grade: PT2; $63,704.550 - $91,004.300 (Annually)
