POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences, seeks a part-time Registered Nurse to
assume the role of a Shift Manager. The Shift Manager will report to the Vice President of Clinical Services, to work in an accredited, specialized, regional mental health facility.

QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will be highly motivated with proven managerial and leadership skills/experience and strong clinical nursing experience; registration as a nurse in Ontario; effective interpersonal and communication skills and experience; demonstrated capacity to effectively manage multi-disciplinary staff and facility resources; demonstrated capacity to work independently and make consultative decisions and judgements; good working knowledge of mental health legislation; ability to work scheduled evening, night and weekend shifts; ability to maintain good attendance; ability to accountably perform Officer-in-Charge
responsibilities.
