POSITION SUMMARY:
 Utilizes leadership and operational skills to assist with issue management and to provide strategic operational support to ensure the delivery of high quality services during weekend and holiday hours.  The position is being implemented to support local supervisor’s on-call during the stated times.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operational Support
-Work with service coordinators, on-call supervisors and staff to support and provide guidance regarding operational issues
-Facilitate operational processes by working collaboratively with service coordination
-Assist frontline staff with clarification of written orders
-Actively participate as a team member in project/program development and implementation

Quality Service Delivery
-Act as a resource to support quality service delivery
-Investigate, follow up and respond to client/staff incidents and complaints, risk issues and health and safety occurrences that require action before the next business day
-Inform appropriate HSS/PSS of complaints and incidents, risk issues, and health and safety occurrences that have been actioned and required follow-up
-Input client/staff complaints and incidents, risk issues and health and safety occurrences into the Feedback/Risk Monitor
-Proactively identify, promote and seek to improve the client experience and client safety

Leadership
-Proactively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and staff, bringing information/issues forward to supervisors and management
-Attend external meetings when delegated by Regional Director
-Identify performance issues related to weekend staff and bring these to the attention of the  appropriate supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:
•A valid certificate of competency with CNO
•A minimum of six (6) months community experience
•Previous supervisory experience
•Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills
•A general knowledge of professional practice
•Demonstrated leadership skills
•Flexibility and the ability to act as a collaborative team member
•Computer knowledge
•Comprehensive knowledge of the organization’s programs and services a definite asset
